Song (video): Levantation, "Hello, Goodbye" (almost done!)

This version has everything now, including the 13s Lego animation, except for the scenes that need an actress. I welcome volunteers. Must be attractive and between 5'2" and 5'6". There are no speaking parts which makes it easier.

  1. Looks like so much fun! It must have taken a long time to do the lego piece. Love it. :)

I had absolutely no idea that you had this artistic side to you Levant. Songs, poetry..... :)

  2. Thanks Lisa! I did a stop-motion animation when I was 14 using my dad's super 8 film camera and hadn't done one since then. The Lego part only took a couple of hours with a digital camera on a tripod. Move the pieces, snap, move, snap and then import the 107 photos into Windows Live Movie Maker (free with Windows) setting the duration to .1s per frame. Pretty easy. Try it!

I've only written poetry and songs in the last 3 years. Before that, I dropped out of Ryerson partly because our next assignment in English was to write a poem! I refused to do that. I then entered UofT. Now I find it's a cathartic process that helps to deal with and express emotions which are sometimes painful.

Thanks for your comments, the first ones so far!

I hope you caught the blooper after the credits :-)!

  3. Thanks Anonymous. I know, I try to make-up for the bad voice by TRYING to sing. Oh well, it's a first effort and most artists take years to get really good.

  5. I think Lisa should be cast for the female lead.
